Resources, whether Material, Machinery or People, need to be fit for purpose, cost effective and well maintained. Why would you buy a piece of kit if it couldn't do the job? 2. SMEs who have in house capability which requires further development or mentoring to align the academic understanding of their managers to operational ability i.e. putting learning interventions into context to drive and deliver business objectives.
3. Provide assistance to smaller or newly formed enterprises who have little or no in house organisational resource to design, develop and implement policies and procedures.
4. To carry out interim/fixed term contract work.
However, regardless of your needs we will work with you on a one to one basis to identify areas of potential improvement and where we can jointly develop and implement policies, procedures and processes to enhance business growth and effectiveness.
5. Mentorship of newly qualified HR specialists, aiding their transfer from academic to operational understanding ensuring issues are put into context.
Over 15 years working and living in the Middle East across the GCC, North Africa, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Prior to becoming an "Expat", spent over 30 years in the UK Rail industry, before, during and after privatisation originally with train operations then HR roles focusing on infrastructure engineering (track, signalling and overhead line). Later become a member of a successful Management Buy Out team during British Rail privatisation. Thereafter went through a number of mergers and acquisitions as the industry settled and was then heavily involved in project tenders and bid management from an HR perspective.
Subsequently, acquired firstly by Peterhouse Group, a holding company for a combination of 9 facilities, telecom and rail businesses and then by Babcock Group. During my time under both companies became involved in matters well outside my previous area of expertise including developing and implementing an Oracle based ERP system for Babcock.
Time here in the Middle East has been interesting and varied, dealing with multinational employees ranging from top notch engineers, sales, logistics to blue collar employees in a number of companies. (DHL, Cape, WorleyParsons, Sherbiny)
